Description:
* The Field Service Engineer plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized laboratory instrumentation.
* This position provides essential support to internal teams and end users, ensuring high-quality service and training.
* The engineer is responsible for on-site troubleshooting, technical guidance, and customer education.
* The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and be a trusted technical resource during field visits to laboratory sites across the region.
Required Skills:
* Hands-on experience servicing, calibrating, and repairing laboratory equipment
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with both hardware and software
* Familiarity with various analysis and testing tools
* Proficiency with commonly used operating systems and office productivity suites
* Capable of interpreting schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for customer interaction
* Experience with diagnostic instruments and tools commonly used in laboratory settings
* Organizational and time management skills to prioritize field assignments effectively
* Able to work with tools, electronic systems, and handle delicate components
* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and maneuver large equipment on wheels
* Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (including weekends and holidays occasionally)
* Comfortable working with hazardous materials and conducting visual inspections
* Manual dexterity for detailed repair tasks
Desired Skills:
* Experience working in laboratory or clinical environments
* Background with diagnostic systems such as immunoassay or fluidic equipment
* Working knowledge of CRM tools and service ticketing systems
* Passport preferred for rare international support travel
* Bachelor s degree in a related technical field
Compensation:
Pay Range: $73500K-$105000K
