Azure Consultant

Our client in Rochester, NY, is looking to hire a contract AWS Consultant to join their team!

This is a fully remote/part-time/6-month contract position

Hourly range based on experience: $50-$52/hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Consultant to support the Cirrus AI Logbook Analysis Project. This project involves developing an AI-powered system to extract and analyze data from handwritten logbooks and service records using advanced AI technologies. The consultant will play a critical role in building a scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure and data pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a serverless architecture using cloud-native services
• Develop data pipelines for text extraction and processing from PDF/handwritten documents
• Create and maintain data validation and error correction algorithms
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Azure Data Factory
• Integrate external data sources via API for Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and flight data
• Implement robust security measures, including end-to-end encryption
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing
• Create comprehensive documentation, including system architecture and design

Required Skills:

• Expertise in AWS and cloud-native services
• Strong experience with Azure, including:
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Functions
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure SQL Database
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform
• Experience with SQL Server

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and Open AI & GPT in Azure
• Familiarity with GenAI Agents and Multi-modal applications
• Proficiency in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Azure AI Vision
• Knowledge of Azure Document Intelligence
