This is a Fully Onsite position at Cranston, RI
The purpose of this solicitation is to hire an experienced Junior Desktop Support Specialist.
A good understanding of Windows Desktop Administration, Active Directory concepts, Domain administration and Desktop / Laptop client computing are required. Win 11 and Microsoft Office 3NA, Bitlocker, McAfee AD, InTune, SCCM, CMDB, ServiceNow are highly recommended.
Experience in large scale asset deployments would be beneficial.
The ability to strongly function as a member of an established Tech Team, work across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple technical areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests.
Responsible for answering IT requests via ServiceNow, phone, email, or in person and explaining solutions in technical and non-technical terms to end users.
Vendor is to provide an experienced Desktop Support Technician to the existing ETSS Technical Support team. Vendor is expected to provide a Junior Desktop Support Technicians onsite, will work mostly from the Cranston office,
The anticipated duration of this project could extend longer than 12 -24 months. Vendor is expected to provide Junior Desktop Support Specialist's onsite for NA hours per week. Services should commence around April 14th, 2025. Contingent on the workload to successful implementation, additional contract extensions may be requested.
Their candidate will work in a Correctional facility, located in Cranston.
SCOPE:
- Vendor must meet with Technical Support Manager to ensure Junior Desktop Support Specialist's success.
- Junior Desktop Support Specialist's must adhere to ETSS Security and State of RI policies. - Such ETSS IT policies may be located at ;/li>
- Junior Desktop Support Specialist's will be subjected to periodical review by Technical Support Manager.
- Junior Desktop Support Specialist's will be expected to pass all of the Department of Administrations Security Policies.
