This role will support clients within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with opportunities to expand support to other defense and security-related organizations. The ServiceNow Sr. Developer is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of ServiceNow applications. Specific initiatives and work products that this role supports include:

What You Will Do :

  • Help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
  • Lead the development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other ServiceNow developers.
  • Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform unit, system, and integration testing.
  • Debug and fix technical problems.
  • Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.
  • Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
  • Participate in platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.


What you must have:

  • 10 or more years of IT Developer or Computer Engineering experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 2 or more years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
  • 2 or more years of e xpertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine, Scoped Apps, and Service Portal.
  • 2 or more years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls, as well as working in an Agile environment.
  • Skilled in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, SQL, and XML.
  • Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST.


What we'd like you to have:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Experience with ServiceNow SAP ERP Canvas.
  • Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
  • Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.
  • Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is :

$84,533.00 - $173,884.00
