Job Details

Title: AI Data Scientist II
Location: 100% Remote

Description:
The AI Data Scientist II will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions to solve complex business challenges. This role involves analyzing extensive datasets, mentoring junior data scientists, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that AI solutions align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions.
Lead the development of advanced AI and machine learning models for complex problem-solving.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends and inform AI development strategies.
Align AI solutions with business goals through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Define methodologies, governance, and frameworks for AI projects.
Mentor junior data scientists on AI and machine learning best practices.
Apply data science solutions in partnership with product leaders.
Lead small to medium-sized teams, directly or indirectly, on project execution.

Required Skills:
Advanced or Master s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience with large language models and transformer-based architectures (e.g., BERT, RoBERTa, T5).
Proficiency in big data tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS.
Expertise in applying LLMs like ChatGPT, GPT 3.5, Claude, and Mistral.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests.
Advanced programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate across departments.

Pay range: $98K-140k/year
