Job Details

Title: Process Specialist/Technician (SEM Metrology )

 

Location: Fremont, CA – 100% onsite is Required – local candidates highly preferred

Length of Contract: 12-18 months+ extension and/or Potential contract-to-hire

Process: 2 Rounds: 1-round 90 minutes with 3 people (30 minute each) via Microsoft Teams Video Interview (Video on)

Background Check Required (No Drug Screen)

Graveyard - Sun-Thursday 10pm-7am

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides engineering support for a specific product, group of products or process capability demonstration related to plasma etchers
  • Reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products
  • Creates new or modified process recipe formulations and executes processing requirements
  • Determines and executes appropriate metrology and sample preparation methods to assess tool performance on wafer
  • Interfaces with design, process, test, and reliability engineering to solve product issues and validate performance during development
  • Coordinates with appropriate engineering personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods
  • Compiles and evaluates test data to compare to appropriate process limits or material specifications
  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate priorities and communicate effectively
  • Occasionally trains Field Process Engineers on process/metrology tool usage related to customer demonstrations.

 

Requirements:

  • AA Degree (Highly Preferred) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related Engineering field. 3rd option would be No degree with related-work experience with Electron microscopy work.
  • Preferred lab experience or coursework related to the semiconductor industry, SEM metrology, and handled wafers before for any metrology/microscopy/etch would be preferred over someone with equipment repair.
  • A genuine interest in advanced technology and an on-going desire to learn
  • Plasma/Wet Etch is a plus
