The OPIR Infrastructure team within Lockheed Martin's National Security Space business area is looking for a full-time System Administrator in Boulder, CO.
The responsibilities of this role include:
This role will work closely with the customer cyber operations team to understand cyber security needs and be able to provide unique and timely solutions to complex cyber challenges.
Provide relevant solutions to current problems to help modernize and move the program forward.
Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and support of information technologies
Schedule and perform installations and upgrades to OS/COTs, software, and database packages in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
Manage appropriate software solutions to ensure server data integrity, monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance level, monitoring security alerts and application systems, and working with other staff to ensure that all appropriate patches are applied in an automated and timely fashion
Perform daily systems administration tasks in Linux, Windows, and AIX environments, to include monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical and virtual systems
Apply cybersecurity standard methodologies to ensure high compliance status is met
Solve any issues related to software installs Maintain and develop documentation as necessary
Fix any issues and provide support across the Information System
Support customer sites with any issues that arise.
Selected candidate must have a Secret security clearance prior to start.
This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.
This position is in beautiful Boulder, Colorado location which has numerous amenities such as a fitness center, weekly food trucks, and a collaborative and modern agile workspace. This position may also require frequent travel to customer sites along the front range as well as the possibility to travel nationwide to remote sites.

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
