Job Title - Oracle Cloud EDM - SME
Contract Duration - 6+ Months Remote
Job Description:
The Client seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud EDM (Enterprise Data Management) Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Enterprise Data Management within Oracle Cloud and proven experience in supporting complex, data-driven environments in higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud EDM, focusing on data governance, hierarchy management, and change management processes for institutional data.
- Collaborate with university stakeholders to assess requirements, define data models, and develop data management strategies.
- Configure EDM applications to support the client's unique data structures and ensure integration with other Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Financials, HCM) especially as it relates to Chart of Structures, segments, hierarchies and values.
- Conduct data validation, testing, and quality assurance for seamless integration with existing systems.
- Provide guidance on best practices for data management, ensuring alignment with university policies and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor end-users, functional teams, and technical staff on EDM functionalities, data governance, and change management procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud EDM, with a focus on implementation and data governance in a higher education or research institution setting.
- Strong knowledge of higher education data structures, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in configuring EDM modules, including defining data models, managing hierarchies, and implementing data workflows.
- Experience working on multi-year, large-scale implementations, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve data integration across ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and governance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and departments.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle Cloud certifications in EDM or related applications.
- Experience with Oracle Financials and/or HCM Cloud.
- Familiarity with data integration tools, reporting tools, and analytics platforms in Oracle Cloud.
