Database Developer

Position Description
SHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently looking for Database Developers with active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The Database Developers will be designing and developing data architecture and ETL dataflow in support of enterprise risk management, analytics and reporting. Provide production support from development teams for existing systems, troubleshoot data and/or system issues. Identify root causes and resolve data related issues. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Designing and developing Pega BPM applications.
Write database PL/SQL Packages, procedures, functions and triggers
Implement and maintain the database design
Create database objects (tables, indexes, etc.)
Assist team members (Developers/QA/DevOps) with database activities
Tune database queries
Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks.
Conducting system performance tests.
Maintaining the security of all system applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Active Top-Secret clearance.
Vue.js, .NET, Postgres, Oracle DB
AWS CloudFormation
Maintenance of geospatial applications such as ESRI ArcGIS and Geoserver
Assume responsibility for quarterly OpenStreetMap refresh and deployment, MongoDB
DBA, ElasticSearch geospatial repository development, DBA and performance tuning. Reestablish OpenStreetMap, Openaddresses, and Geonames feeds as a source of current
geospatial data by importing these datasets into ElasticSearch DB.
AngularJS, BoostrapVue, Chart.js, CoordinateSharp, D3.js, jQuery, jTable, Leaflet.JS,
Microsoft .NET 4.6 Framework, Microsoft .NET 8 Framework, Newtonsoft Json.net0, NGA
GeoTrans modules, PDFSharp, Telerik, Vue.JS, Oracle Instant Client

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Database Developer.
