Our client is seeking an innovative Cybersecurity Systems Engineer who will play a vital role in safeguarding their expansive operation by overseeing secure data architectures across cloud and hybrid environments. This includes implementing data loss prevention strategies. You'll be a part of a supportive and technologically advanced environment that values integrity, respect, and continuous growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Technology or Business-related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive background in IT, data transformation, and cybersecurity requirements.
- 4-8+ years experience in IT database management/operations, including proficiency in cloud-based IT environments.
-Must have a strong background in data centric technologies, data flow and analysis and cyber security frameworks
- Proficient in scripting and coding languages such as PowerShell, Python, KQL, PHP, and SQL.
- CISSP/CISM or related certifications are a plus, or the willingness to pursue them.
- Proven prowess in implementing cybersecurity within IT and Data Privacy frameworks like NIST CSF, SOC(x), PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
-Understanding of data privacy and encryption across platforms like Azure Blob Storage, Databricks, SQL and third party systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with a knack for prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Personable, with exceptional communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and third-party vendors.
