Job Details
Our client in Providence, RI is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for their Waterfront and Marine division. The Project Manager for Waterfront and Coastal engineering projects will be responsible for, but not limited to: preparing construction bid documents and technical specifications; performing site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical reporting; working with Permitting on environmental requirements; people and project management and delivery on projects; engineering design; and environmental permitting.
To be considered, you must have:
- 7 – 10 years of experience in design and successful management of a variety of Waterfront and Coastal engineering projects to include such areas as marinas, marine terminals, community Waterfronts, harbors, wharves, piers, recreational piers, and / or Waterfront parks
- Experience with geotechnical engineering to assist in the design of soli / structure interaction elements such as retaining walls, bulkheads, and / or piles
- Strong knowledge of building codes and the design of reinforced concrete, steel, and timber Waterfront structures
- Experience developing construction documents, project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, MathCAD, Tedds, or CEDAS
- Valid driver’s license for site visits and interoffice (RI, MA) travel
- Licensed Professional Engineer or willingness to obtain PE within 1 year of hire
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering
