RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a dynamic and innovative tech company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions is looking for a talented Java Developer to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
* Java Developer will develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications
* Design and implement database solutions using SQL
* Integrate and manage AWS services to enhance application performance and scalability
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
* As a Java Developer, you will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
* Update existing Java web applications
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience as a Java Developer
* Strong experience with Java web development is required
* Strong knowledge of Java programming language
* Proficiency in SQL and database management
* Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS)
* Understanding of database and SQL principles
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
