Position: AWS Java Full Stack Developer

Location: McLean, VA

Experience: 7-12 years

Work Type: Hybrid (Day one onsite)

PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the position of Java Full Stack Developer for one of their clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems using Java and Spring Boot
  • Develop microservices-based architectures and integrate with other systems using APIs and messaging queues (Kafka)
  • Work with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and RDS
  • Develop user interfaces using Angular and other front-end technologies
  • Work with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, and design schema for efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Required Skills:

  • 7-12 years of experience in Java development
  • Strong expertise in Java 8/11, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and RDS
  • Knowledge of Angular and front-end development
  • Experience with Kafka and messaging queues
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
