IT Compliance Lead

Simpalm is looking for a dedicated IT Compliance Lead to ensure that its IT systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role involves developing compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing expert guidance to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IT compliance programs and policies aligned with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Conduct regular IT compliance audits and assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with external auditors during third-party assessments and certifications.
• Provide guidance to IT teams on compliance matters and regulatory requirements.
• Identify compliance gaps and develop actionable plans to address them.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to internal policies and external standards.
• Lead risk assessments to identify, prioritize, and mitigate potential IT risks.
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities, audit results, and corrective actions.
• Deliver compliance training programs to educate staff on policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, legal, HR, etc.) to ensure organization-wide compliance alignment.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and standards that impact IT compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years in IT compliance, auditing, or risk management roles.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Hands-on experience with IT audit tools and methodologies.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM Lead Auditor/Implementer certifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in compliance tools and software solutions.
