Job Title: Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Architect
Location: Plano, TX/Remote
Duration: Long-term
Description:
As the Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Architect, you will be the cornerstone of our data operations, reporting directly to the CEO/Founder. You will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, overseeing data ingestion, storage, semantic modeling, and reporting. Leading a small team of developers, you ll harness Fabric s unified platform to create standard data models and generate actionable sales reports, with the ability to drill down to micro-level insights.
Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, with hands-on experience in Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
- Proven ability to architect end-to-end data solutions, including capacity planning, storage optimization, and semantic modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI for creating complex, filterable reports with granular insights.
- Experience managing large datasets (e.g., 17 million unstructured documents) and designing scalable data architectures.
- Leadership experience guiding small technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft s broader cloud ecosystem (Azure, Synapse, etc.) and its integration with Fabric.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, including the CEO/Founder.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
