Advanced Manufacturing Manager
Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.\n\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite\n\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\n \tSupport production startup and ramp plans though project management by providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.\n \tAssisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.\n \tUtilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines. \n \tCreate and maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including facility layout, process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, takt time assessments, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years experience.
  • Preferred Experience Includes: Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis - Project Management - SAP - Manufacturing - ProPlanner - FlexSim - AutoCAD - SolidWorks - Plan for Every Part (PFEP) - Value Stream Mapping, Labor Routings,
  • Positions requires occasional 2nd shift availability.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
