Description

SAIC has an exciting future opportunity for a Program Manager in Bremerton, WA. This Naval program will provide IT operations, application management, maintenance, and customer support to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) & Naval Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) including remote sites and detachments in order to meet mission requirements.

This work is contingent upon award news in the Fall of 2025 timeframe.

Work is performed on site in Bremerton, WA and may require travel to other customer locations.

Job Summary: The Program Manager will oversee management, direction, administration, quality assurance and leadership of the complete task order. Assign tasking to contractor personnel, supervise ongoing technical efforts, and manage overall TO performance to ensure the optimal use of assigned resources and subcontractors. Be available to respond to customer questions, concerns, and comments, and proactively mitigate potential contractual and programmatic issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure PSNS and IMF systems are operationally sustained, accredited and modernization ready.
  • Responsible for successful execution of the task order to include management, administration, and quality assurance.
  • Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Includes optimization of resources and subcontractors.
  • Manage risk, customer relationships, program staffing and financial performance.
  • Conduct management and contract discussions in coordination with internal cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years or more of related experience.
    • or HS and ten (10) years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in DevSecOps balancing sustainment and modernization efforts.
  • At least five (5) years or more experience in the following:
    • Managing Information Technology and Cyber Security projects to include assignment of personnel, implementing cost controls, and developing project timelines.
    • Managing, as a PM, on a Federal Task Order / Contract providing network operations, software development, Cybersecurity processes and procedures, system administration, and customer support services.
    • Developing and managing Quality Management Plans in support of IT contracts.
  • Experience managing, as a PM, on a Federal Task Order / Contract on a cost type contract basis for services.
  • Experience managing a Geographically distributed workforce.

Required Clearance:
  • Must hold a TS/SCI clearance.

Required certifications:
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP).
  • DoD Manual 8570, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program for Information Assurance Management (IAM) experience and certification compliance.
  • DoD Manual 8140 for Program Manager role compliance; education, experience and/or certification.

Desired/Nice to Have:
  • Experience leading and delivering complex IT solutions for DoD organizations supporting CONUS and OCONUS customers.
  • DAWIA Level 3 certification in Program management.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Scrum Master.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
