Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.
Duties: Work with development teams, architects, user interface design teams, and product partners to design, develop and implement best-in-class applications. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to monitor, update, communicate project timelines and milestones, and obtain senior management feedback. Analyze new business requirements, provide software design solutions for highly critical and reusable software components, validate functional requirements documentation, and identify gaps. Act as a subject matter expert and development lead for a proprietary translation application. Conduct application development utilizing latest technology including Apache Camel, Tibco, Kafka, Java, and Apache Spark. Monitor and review applications, increase throughput, and build resilience to handle failures. Present hardware requirements to senior management team to allocate budget to support application processing capacity. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience with application development. Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing and developing large scale file and API based payment processing applications and Integration and Translation frameworks utilizing Data Integration and Big Data Technology including Apache Camel, Apache Spark engine (Spark SQL, Spark-Streaming), Non SQL Database, or Kafka Topics; Building high-efficiency data pipelines to handle file translation technical details and connectivity between applications or systems using Spring Boot microservices to load data to databases including Oracle and Mongo; Developing global banking applications using TIBCO Business Work, Tibco Adapter, Tibco Hawk, Tibco EMS and Java Technology to handle payment file processing; Designing, developing, and maintaining internal Resilience control applications to help automate reprocessing of failed files and generate application performance evaluation reports, scorecards and ad-hoc reports; and Performing in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems/projects including automation of regulatory reports, management reports, consent order programs, optimizing high-volume data processing to meet SLA requirements and business transformation for reporting maintenance including rules, metadata, and processes. 40 hrs./wk.
