The Work
We are looking for highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join and contribute significantly to the successful implementation and enablement of this journey for our Lockheed Martin RMS Cyber Inside Team supporting Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) through IWTA in a Technical Support and Systems Administration role. You will play a critical role in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs on engineering networks and special test equipment in labs. Your responsibilities will include:
Workstation Administration: Manage and maintain heterogeneous networks, including Windows 7/10/11 and Windows Server-based domains.
Cyber Compliance: Oversee operating system cyber compliance, including upgrades and patching for both Windows and Linux systems.
Hardware Management: Provide guidance and management for hardware, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance across multiple architectures.
Application Support: Ensure the integrity and availability of applications, and coordinate new application installations, upgrades, and customer support in classified areas.
IT Hardware Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on various IT hardware, such as PCs, printers, and laptops.
Security Implementation: Implement security measures in hardware, software, data, and procedures to protect our systems.

This position requires daily onsite presence in Troy, AL in closed areas.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
Must have an Active Secret clearance
Ability to maintain a security clearance, and customers' acceptance
Must possess a valid IAT Level II or III DoD Approved 8140 (DoD 8570) certification such as Security+, in good standing
Knowledge and experience with workstation administration of Microsoft Windows in an Active Directory environment
Demonstrated experience effectively performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Experience developing effective stakeholder and partner relationships
Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects with the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability
Ability and willingness to accommodate occasional off-shift hours and travel
This position requires daily onsite presence in Troy, AL in closed areas.
Desired skills
Experience building, operating, and maintaining secure operating system configurations as well as secure networks with demonstrated technical knowledge
Experience working in Active Directory domains
Scripting ability to support system administration activities and automation (i.e. Ansible, Python, BASH, Perl, Batch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Experience managing Trellix Endpoint Security on Windows
Technical documentation creation and management; including designing, building, and documenting new environments/systems
Experience maintaining Windows baselines, including security settings and hardening
Intuitive thinker that can contrive and implement new solutions to technical problems
Demonstrated collaboration, including interpersonal and teaming skills
Knowledge and experience implementing technical requirements on multiple operating systems for NISPOM Chapter-8, JAFAN, JSIG, DoD RMF, and other protection level caveats
Understanding of basic routing/switching networking concepts
Familiarity with engineering software and license mechanisms
Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures by use if Group Policy, registry and configuration settings based on security policies.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $93,400 - $179,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
