Job Details

The Postdoctoral Research Scholar will conduct research in a sparse tensor network project with Faculty co-mentors Dr. Li and Dr. Mueller. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of research excellence in the area of high performance computing for Sparse Tensor networks; exhibit leadership, communication, and organization skills. Specific job responsibilities for the Postdoctoral Research Scholar position will be the following:


  • Conduct research in areas of high performance computing for sparse tensor networks, such as parallel algorithms, runtime, and compiler

  • Mentor undergraduate and graduate students conducting research

  • Write and publish the results of that research in peer-reviewed venues

  • Conduct funding related tasks (e.g., reporting)

  • Coordination of and participation in project meetings

  • Collaborate with professors at two other universities to integrate work together

  • Lead and participate in public engagement and outreach activities

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
