Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer (Terraform)
Long term Contract
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and maintain cloud infrastructure Azure,
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Work with developers and system administrators to optimize application deployment, monitoring, and scaling in cloud environments.
- Automate the creation and management of virtual machines, networks, load balancers, databases, and other cloud services using Terraform.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure the infrastructure is secure, compliant, and follows best practices.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure health and performance, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure visibility into infrastructure performance and security.
- Write clear documentation on infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay current with cloud computing trends, new tools, and technologies, recommending improvements to the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Shell).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
