Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a skilled SharePoint Software Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the largest enterprise-wide Engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. As a key member of our team, you will engage in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of advanced software systems.

This full-time position requires 1,880 hours of support annually, with all work conducted at our Peraton facilities. In this role, you will lead the development, design, integration, administration, and maintenance of dynamic webpages, leveraging capabilities such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Your expertise will also be instrumental in establishing workflows, driving process improvements, and potentially drafting or reviewing technical documentation, implementation guides, and end-user guides.

Working within an Agile team environment, you will utilize Jira to track and manage tickets throughout established sprints, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software solutions. Join us in advancing the capabilities that safeguard our nation's most critical assets.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Eight years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Four years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. A relevant Masters degree and seven years of Software Engineering experience would also be acceptable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
Proficiency in SharePoint, Confluence, and Coding/Development.
Front-end GUI/ Page Development
HTML, CSSL, and JavaScript usage
Security+ Certification (or equivalent)
TS/SCI with poly
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

Ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with the PMO
Ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues is critical
A self-starter, have a high level of attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
