The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia is seeking a Data Analyst to support clinical research, particularly in advanced neuromonitoring in brain injuries and stroke. This role is pivotal in our analysis of large time-series data critical for understanding brain function and recovery.
Responsibilities:
This position is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance. Anticipated Hiring Range: $40,000 - $50,000 commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure high quality data is collected for analysis and continually verify integrity of the data.
- Identify errors and help develop process improvements.
- Perform analysis of information and identify , interpret, and report the trends or patterns found in data sets. Develop recommendations based on findings.
- Synthesize data analysis by creating graphs, reports, and presentations of results in order to make strategic and programmatic decisions.
- Develop content for seminars, forums, and presentations.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- BS in biomedical engineering or related field
- Experience with waveform level data analytics
- Familiarity with Matlab, Python or other similar languages
- Data cleaning, alignment, and processing capabilities
