Job Title: OT Network Engineer
Location: Chesterfield, MO (Onsite: 2-3 Days/Week)
Duration: 8 Weeks, with Potential Extension

Note: This role requires onsite work from day one. The position is based near St. Louis, MO.

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an OT Network Engineer to support the deployment of 15 new sites before year-end and to assist with ongoing network integration, configuration, and rollout efforts. The role involves supporting both the integration of an IP/VOIP migration as well as network integration from PLC/manufacturing plants to data centers. This position also includes handling escalations (Level 1, 2, and 3), responding to outages, and collaborating on critical cloud and security projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Deployment & Integration: Assist in the integration, configuration, and deployment of network infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring seamless rollout.
  • Voice Network Migration: Support the migration of a hybrid voice network (70% Cisco, 30% Avaya) to Microsoft Teams, with a focus on IP/VOIP infrastructure.
  • Manufacturing Network Integration: Facilitate network integration from existing PLC/Manufacturing plants to client data centers.
  • Incident & Outage Management: Handle escalations and respond to network incidents, coordinating with the team to resolve issues effectively.
  • Cloud & Security Projects: Support ongoing cloud integration projects and assist with security measures for ICS/PLC environments, identifying and mitigating risks.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between OT and IT departments.
  • Address ServiceNow incidents and perform incident response.
  • Configure and coordinate Wi-ISP as needed.
  • Prioritize and address ICS/PLC security concerns.
  • Develop security policies and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor network traffic and address security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure holistic security.
  • Manage and document Riverbed infrastructure replacement and support over 200+ network assets under the direction of the Global Network Manager.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Network Engineering & Configuration: Expert-level knowledge of Cisco-based networks, with experience in network integration and configuration.
  • Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security: Familiarity with ICS and PLC frameworks, including the Purdue Model for ICS security.
  • Voice Integration: Proficiency in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco IP technologies.
  • Cloud Exposure: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform from a network integration perspective is advantageous.
  • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, with experience implementing policies to ensure compliance.
  • Documentation & Communication: Strong documentation skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
