Job Description: As an Autonomous Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing autonomous systems. You will work closely with our team of engineers and researchers to design and implement state-of-the-art algorithms and software for our autonomous systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation and performance of our autonomous systems, while also constantly seeking ways to improve and optimize their capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop algorithms and software for autonomous systems, including perception, planning, and control systems
Conduct research and development to improve the performance and capabilities of our autonomous systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop solutions
Create simulations and conduct testing to evaluate the performance of autonomous systems
Troubleshoot and debug any issues with the autonomous systems and provide timely resolutions
Stay updated with the latest advancements in autonomous systems technology and incorporate them into our systems
Support the integration of autonomous systems into various applications and industries
Document all technical specifications and processes related to autonomous systems development
Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress
Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge in autonomous systems engineering
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in autonomous systems engineering
Strong background in developing algorithms for perception, planning, and control systems
Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java
Experience with simulation tools and software, such as ROS and Gazebo
In-depth knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
Familiarity with hardware and software integration for autonomous systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
