As the company's center of excellence for end-to-end radio frequency mission solutions, this market segment focuses on developing technologies that help the warfighter stay ahead of threats in the electromagnetic spectrum. The Work:
As a Systems Engineer-IT Product Owner on the this program, you will:
1. Serve as the technical lead and product owner for the System Administration team responsible for providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and project management for all systems engineering and software development activities.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, define system architecture, and drive the development of software solutions that meet program needs, with a focus on complex networking, including layer-3 protocols.
3. Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex systems and software solutions using various technologies, platforms, and programming languages, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices, specifically the Red Hat Virtualization product and product lifecycles, patching, and STIG compliance.
4. Develop and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and product roadmaps, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for stakeholders and team members.
5. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
6. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
7. Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and drive the resolution of technical debt, ensuring systems and software solutions remain secure, scalable, and efficient, specifically focusing on complex networking, Red Hat Virtualization product and product lifecycles, patching, and STIG compliance.
8. Stay current with emerging technologies, platforms, and trends in systems engineering, software development, and product management, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and continuously improve Fenwick Program systems and software solutions.

Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree with over 14 years of professional experience in systems engineering, software development, or product management, 12 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree; 9 years of professional experience with a related PhD or JD, or equivalent combined education and experience.
2. Proven leadership or management experience
3. Expertise in systems engineering principles, software development life cycle, and product management best practices.
4. DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
5. Demonstrated expertise in complex networking, including layer-3 protocols, Red Hat Virtualization product and product lifecycles, patching, and STIG compliance.
Desired skills
1. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
2. Experience in leading, managing, and mentoring technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
