Computer Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a talented IT Systems Manager to join our Client's dynamic team.
Job at a glance:
- This is 6-month contract to hire position
- Pay rate is $60-$75/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
- Hybrid position, onsite 4 days/wk with Fridays remote. Can sit in Wilmington, DE; Scottsdale, AZ; Urbandale, IA; Chicago, IL; Manassas, VA; or Richmond, VA
- This person will be managing the email environment for 9,000 employees.
- Will be managing a team of 10
- Seeking Directors and Managers who have managed their Microsoft 365 email environment for a user group of 2,000+
Job Description:
This position will provide leadership and direction for applications and systems associated with the delivery of messaging, mobility, faxing, and E-discovery services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a reliable, secure, and highly available messaging environment, delivering integrated solutions that align with strategic roadmaps.
- Provide confidential information to Corporate HR and Legal for E-discovery requests.
- Configure messaging systems in compliance with data classification, retention policies, and PI requirements (domestic and international).
- Collaborate primarily with Information Security, Legal, HR, Compliance, executives, and global IT peers.
- Manage efforts to reduce technical debt and enhance system capabilities.
- Focus on developing, reviewing, and implementing multi-year strategies aimed at continuous improvement and solution uptime.
- Direct work through goal-level leadership across teams, with approximately 50% or less of time spent within directly managed teams.
- Mentor and develop team members, including project and architectural leaders.
- Influence senior leaders to ensure a secure, compliant, and robust technical environment.
- Travel requirement: 10-30%.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
Required Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of M365 and administrative capabilities.
- Strong understanding of both on-premises and cloud exchange ecosystems.
- Proficiency in video collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Webex.
- Experience with managing agile teams, specifically in Scrum methodologies.
- Strong background in automation to transition teams from manual tasks.
- Experience with eDiscovery and data retention tools.
- 5-10 years of technical leadership in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly M365.
- Ability to manage personnel, technical initiatives, and projects for application development teams.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Strong customer service focus, driving decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment with minimal supervision.
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
