Sr Data/Reporting Analyst || Remote || W2

Title: Data/Reporting Analyst

Location: Remote (CST or EST timezone)

Rate: $--/hr on w2 no benefits

Length: 6 months (could extend)

BIGGEST things - looking for:

• Snowflake data extracting experience
• ThoughtSpot report building familiarity or a similar BI modern platform (PowerBI, Tableau)
• Tableau experience- extract the data and generate and transcribe into Excel.

Preferred Profile Types:

• Experience with ThoughtSpot, Cognos and Oracle (ThoughtSpot is a nice to have- other BI platforms are applicable).
• Any skills working with Snowflake
• Analytics consulting experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in a Travel Management Company and would be a plus.
• Less preference for profiles with a primary focus on data engineering, database administration, or architecture.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong business perspective.
• Proficiency in ThoughtSpot, snowflake or other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical skills in data collection, data mining, and statistical modeling techniques
• Moderate experience with programming languages and tools such as [SQL, Python, R] and simple analytics tools such as [Excel]
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into business insights.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as [Tableau, Power BI, QlikView] to create compelling visualizations and reports
• Deep understanding of database concepts such as database structures, query languages, and data warehousing principles to keep the data warehouse organized
• Experience handling business intelligence tools such as [Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Business Intelligence, IBM Cognos] to extract and analyze data

Soft Skills:.

• Strong analytical skills: You are able to break down complex problems in a data analyst role, analyze data effectively, and derive meaningful insights is key to the role
• Critical thinking: You use strategic thinking to evaluate information objectively and assess alternative solutions to make informed decisions
• Effective communication skills: Your ability to convey complex technical terms to non-technical team members is an essential part of the role, communicating findings in a clear and concise manner
