SAP HANA Database Consultant with Data Archiving

Client has an on-premises HANA database for ECC Business Suite .The HANA database stores all of the ECC transactional data for the Financial (FI) and Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. Client migrated to HANA database and have not archived any of the transactional data since 2005. This project entails archiving data in an external data container that will still be accessible for FI and HCM transactions. The external data container housing archived transactions should also be accessible for payroll retroactive calculations and other payroll activities.

Other non-transactional data such as attachments, forms, notes should also be accessible by the FI and/or HCM modules via transactional code in the ECC Business Suite if these objects can also be archived.

 

This project will encompass the analysis of transactions and objects that can be archived to an external dataset container, thorough testing of FI and HCM/Payroll processing, reporting in retrieval of archived objects, and detailed plan for production implementation as well as support after implementation.

 

The ideal candidate(s) would have the following Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

 

  • Experience with HANA database table for Finance and Human Capital Management.
  • Experience in archiving transactional and non-transactional on an external data container retrievable from ECC application.
  • Must have an analytical, results-driven, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written presentation, and listening.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • SAP project management skills, and experience following SAP Best Practices.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to handle numerous conflicting priorities in a professional manner.
  • Ability to plan and organize work and responsibilities; and
  • Good facilitation skills.
