Responsibilities

Radar Engineer - Junior Level

This position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to learn, grow and gain hands-on experience in radar system design, development, and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, with a particular interest in radar technology and signal processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of radar systems, including hardware components, software, and algorithms.
  • Support senior engineers in radar signal processing, including tasks like filtering, pulse compression, and target detection.
  • Help with the integration and testing of radar systems to ensure they meet performance specifications.
  • Conduct simulations and assist in the evaluation of radar system performance.
  • Support the creation of technical documentation, such as test reports, system specifications, and user manuals.
  • Participate in system calibration and field testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in radar systems, working closely with senior engineers.
  • Stay current on the latest radar technology trends and assist in implementing new ideas or methodologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years w/o a degree

Minimum 3 years with Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field

Minimum 1 years with Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
  • Strong foundation in signal processing, electromagnetics, and radar systems.
  • Familiarity with radar simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) and basic programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
  • Basic understanding of radar principles and technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent settings.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
