Test Automation Engineer

Job Title: Test Automation Engineer 

Join our dynamic team as a Test Automation Engineer! You'll be part of a diverse team focused on mitigating risk and reducing costs through the implementation of quality assurance programs. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in automation testing and multiple coding languages.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Work with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure proper testing coverage and overall system reliability.
• Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC).
• May coach, lead, and mentor other team members.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in automation testing applications such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, etc.
• Domain experience within banking specifically testing payment related applications
• Basic knowledge of coding languages utilized in automation software, such as Python and Java.
• Experience in a CI/CD environment using Jenkins
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and bitbucket/other repositories for storing test scripts, source code, etc. is a plus.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required. Master s in computer software or related advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
