Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa, for a Project Manager - Technology. **MUST BE ONSITE** **Newly created role** This role is centered around the technology department, where you will play a key role in overseeing the enhancement of all software and infrastructure projects including within ERP systems. As a Project Manager, you will be working closely with business stakeholders, developers, system administrators, and others to ensure the seamless execution of projects. Responsibilities:

Oversee the enhancement of the ERP system, ensuring all project requests are accurately documented and prioritized.

Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to gather clear and actionable requirements for enhancements.

Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring accurate effort estimates and cost/benefit analysis.

Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes in scope, delays, and key milestones.

Continuously evaluate and improve internal project management processes to enhance team productivity.

Proactively identify risks and obstacles that could impact project timelines or quality and work with the team to mitigate these risks.

Maintain transparent communication within the IT team and with business stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of progress, challenges, and updates.

Track project progress, prepare status reports, and provide clear documentation on project performance, including post-project evaluations and lessons learned.

Collaborate with external vendors for system integrations or development work when necessary, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Manager in a technology-focused role.

Proficient in using Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking.

Experience with CRM systems for customer relationship management.

Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage and integrate the business processes.

Demonstrable skills in Change Management to guide and manage the human side of change to achieve the required business outcome.

Understanding of SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle to design, develop and test high quality software.

Experience in Project Life Cycle Management from initiation to closure.

Proficient in Project software for project planning, scheduling, and tracking.

Experience in managing critical infrastructure projects.
