We are looking for candidates with active DHS or DOD clearance
Position Overview:
We are seeking Experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions within AWS. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of federal security requirements, ensuring compliance and robust security across cloud environments The ideal candidate must have federal cloud experience, possess an active security clearance, and be well-versed in AWS services, data visualization, and compliance with federal security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, secure, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for federal projects, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation, ensuring compliance with government standards.
  • Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications via automated CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeDeploy, Jenkins, and other tools, following strict federal guidelines.

    Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash, with a focus on scalability and security.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and compliance of cloud services, addressing unique federal security requirements (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP).
  • Design and develop interactive data dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight, supporting mission-critical decision-making while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Work with SQL and other tools to support data-driven insights, including creating ETL processes that integrate various data sources into AWS S3 and RDS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including federal clients and stakeholders, to align cloud solutions and data visualizations with business and compliance needs.

    Stay updated on the latest AWS technologies and federal cloud security standards, continuously enhancing cloud environments and data visualization capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, within a federal environment.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible) tools.
  • A high proficiency in Microsoft Visio for architecture documentation is essential

    Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Dockers, Kubernates) in AWS.
  • Proven skills in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, with a focus on federal security standards.
  • Experience with Amazon QuickSight for data visualization and reporting.

    Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with ETL processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, including federal teams.
  • Federal Experience: Proven track record in managing AWS environments for federal clients, ensuring security and compliance with government standards.
