Work you'll do

As an OTT Insurance Transformation Manager, you will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients. Other position responsibilities include:

  • Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large Insurance Carriers/companies.
  • Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
  • Hands on technical expertise specifically related to Integration to complex legacy applications.
  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 6 years consulting or relevant Insurance experience within Property & Casualty - Personal Lines, Commercial lines, Specialty Insurance
  • 6 years of experience working in one of the following Insurance sub service areas: User experience, Integration, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration, Underwriting or Distribution
  • 6 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance with one of the following solutions: Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar package
  • Minimum 6 full life cycle implementations of Large-Scale System Delivery Experience preferably for Policy Administration, Billing Systems and/or Claims Systems
  • 2+ years of experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations
  • 3+ years of experience managing at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through one or more project lifecycle phases from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development and testing
  • 6 years of experience in translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in area of technical specialization
  • CPCU, AIC, ARM Certification
  • Guidewire Integration or Configuration certification
  • Experience delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology
  • A strong Java, Gosu (Guidewire), EJB, BPEL, UNIX background
  • Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integration
  • Experience with technologies like BEA, Sonic, IBM, Oracle, Apache ServiceMix, FuseESB, Camel, Mule etc.
  • Strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137700 to $229500.
