Position Overview: As a Senior Principal Cybersecurity Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the security posture of our organization. You will be responsible for assessing risk, designing secure systems architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions. This role demands a forward-thinking leader who is adept at navigating complex technical landscapes and is driven by a commitment to long-term cybersecurity success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business units to ensure cybersecurity controls align with strategic objectives and overall risk management goals.
• Develop and implement security requirements across diverse technologies, including applications, networks, cloud environments, and automation platforms.
• Lead architectural design efforts that balance security needs with operational efficiency, creating blueprints for secure application and product development.
• Assess and refine existing security frameworks, identifying opportunities for increased security maturity and recommending innovative solutions.
• Provide leadership in technical problem-solving throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on secure development, testing, and monitoring processes.
• Oversee cybersecurity testing and risk management efforts, ensuring that security initiatives are scalable and meet organizational needs.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, conducting proof of concepts (POCs) to assess their potential for enhancing security operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in cloud security, including experience with major platforms such as AWS, Azure, OCI, IBM, and various SaaS solutions.
• Strong background in implementing authentication and access management solutions, including SSO, OAuth, MFA, and IAM.
• Exceptional technical and analytical skills with extensive experience in designing secure architectures for large-scale, complex environments.
• Ability to collaborate with executive leadership, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
• Demonstrated success in leading cybersecurity initiatives and driving innovation across a wide range of products and services.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on securing diverse technologies and large-scale processing environments.
• 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role, such as Lead Security Architect, Network Architect, or Solutions Architect.
• Experience with driving thought leadership and innovation in technical security solutions.
• Relevant certifications and/or licenses are required.
