JOB TITLE: FIELD CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (TALLAHASSEE OR JACKSONVILLE)
JOB DUTIES: Describe in detail the tasks that the worker will be performing on a daily basis. Elaborate on the project/s they will work on and overall functions of this group. Best to put in paragraph form as a brief synopsis of the fundamental expectations of the proper candidate.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): As part of the Network Engineering Implementation team, you?ll be an integral part of the construction and activation of new macro sites into the network. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position where
you?ll be responsible for all aspects of field construct new sites from the stage of RFDS design all the way through activation. Details of the expectations below: ? Align with real estate, RF, and A&E on the construction scope of work for each site. ? Provide detailed requirements/scope to construct macro sites per RFDS and site conditions ? Review and approval prelim and final CDs. ? Review proposed tower mod designs needed to implement project and ensure best approach is being taken to balance cost, RF design, and timeline. ? Ensure proposed design meets electrical specifications for commercial power and generator backup. ? Oversee construction activities of general contractors and ensure projects are progressing on-schedule ? Proactively address any obstacles preventing construction workflow ? Ensure telco ready packages submitted 30-days after construction start ? Ensure all regulatory compliance requirements met for construction ? Ensure all equipment installed by meets construction installation standards ? Coordinate telco walks with transport vendor ? Coordinate power utility walks ? Coordinate with Built-To-Suit companies on project schedules. ? Maintain updated project dates in FUZE ? Assist with site pre-load and pre-integration ? Complete final punchwalk ? Review and verify closeout documents.
DESIRED SKILLS: ? Knowledge of Ericsson base stations and remote radio units ? Knowledge of Nokia transport equipment ? Knowledge of JMA and Commscope Remote Electrical Tilt Antennas ? Knowledge of hybrid cables and CPRI mux/patch panels ? Knowledge of how to integration macro new build sites on network
