Job Description
Job Title: DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Plans and directs all aspects of marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Identifies, develops, and evaluates marketing strategy based on knowledge of company objectives, market characteristics, and cost/markup factors. Formulates, directs, and coordinates marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with peer managers and other stakeholders. Initiates market research studies and analyzes their findings, making recommendations to management team based on this research. Primary interface with digital marketing vendor and overall coordination of social media.

Read, write, speak, and comprehend English

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATION(S):
Posses a BA/BS in Marketing or Business Administration
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Reading, writing, and speaking English and basic mathematics
Communication technologies such as smartphone, e-mail, and internet
Organizing and prioritizing tasks and time
Basics of web-design (WordPress)
Graphics/photo imaging software
Social media platforms and their software
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Reading, writing, and arithmetic
Organizing and managing time
Market analysis
Expert use of smartphones, laptop, and PestPac
REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Sit, stand, walk, hear, touch, talk, write, type, smell, drive, crouch, crawl, see close up and far away, use handheld computer, use computer monitor and keyboard, ascend/descend a ladder, use small/handheld power tools, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and tolerate heights, confined working spaces, and variable weather conditions.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
PLANNING
Stays informed on future marketing trends and ties these to the company s objectives
Assists the sales department by providing marketing materials and advice
Provides an annual marketing plan each year in coordination with the Director of Finance
ANALYSIS
Provides regular competitive analysis and recommends marketing solutions to advance the company s objectives
Monitors lead sources and examines their ROI on a quarterly basis
TEAMWORK
Assists managers in understanding marketing efforts and the impact on sales/service/office
Helps sales department with tradeshows when possible
OTHER
Perform other duties as required (Operational support/projects)
Spends necessary time to obtain agreed upon goals (20-25 hours/week)
Required Performance Outcomes
Provides annual marketing plan for the following year by 09/01 each year
Analyze ROI each month/quarter and provides data to operations/finance
Meets monthly with digital marketing company
Provides marketing analysis/summary to management on a quarterly basis
