RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is looking for a Data Warehouse Analyst proficient in PL/SQL.
Summary:
As a Data Warehouse Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse systems. You will leverage your extensive experience in software development and Oracle PL/SQL to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis. Your strong analytical and troubleshooting skills will be crucial in optimizing performance and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop data warehouse solutions to meet business requirements
* Write and optimize PL/SQL code, including analytical functions, merge statements, WITH clause, partitioning, job logging, exception handling, and performance tuning
* Manage and maintain Oracle databases (12c or 19c) to ensure data integrity and availability
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data warehouse solutions with other applications
* Perform data analysis and generate reports to support business decision-making
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data warehouse operations
* Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* 15+ years of experience in software development
* 10+ years of strong development experience using Oracle PL/SQL
* 5+ years of experience in a data warehouse environment
* Proficiency in Oracle 12c or 19c with 12+ years of experience
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
* Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues
* Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
