Job Description
Administer systems infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud, including VMware cloud solutions
Support domain controller/active directory, physical and virtual servers, database servers, high-performance storage solutions, and VMware infrastructure.
Support for Microsoft servers, MS SQL, MS SharePoint, DNS, DHCP, active directory, group policy, backup technologies, Hyper-V and VMware environments.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Windows, active directory, MS SQL and VMware environments.
Manage and lead systems and infrastructure projects, including virtualization projects with Vmware.
Support existing server infrastructure in a 247 on-call escalation capacity as part of a team rotation.
Assisting in network architecture and operations.
Monitoring all systems to ensure they re working correctly.
Troubleshooting inefficiencies and errors in Windows, active directory, and VMware environments.
Overseeing all work done on the computer systems.
Working with managers to determine system needs.
Training new Systems Engineers.
Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience with network technologies, specifically TCP/IP, and related network tools.
Expert knowledge in active directory (Windows 2012 through Windows 2022), DNS, OU design and management, AD Site design, Group Policy, AD security, AD certificate services, LDAP, Global Catalog, WINS, DHCP, DFS, FRS, AD troubleshooting, and AD.
Expert knowledge in virtualization technologies, backup technologies and
Desired skills include active directory, DNS, networking, CIFS, automated patching procedures, MS SQL, SCOM, SCCM, storage solutions, and active directory with experience in managing AD, DHCP, and VMware.

GMP Experience
Manufacturing systems such as Scada, DCS, BAS, PI Historian
Education:
A Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Technical, Engineering, Education, Information Technology, Math, Information Systems, Science, Administration, or Computer Engineering is often required.
