The Business Operations Data Scientist is a skilled and experienced Data Scientist with around 5 years of experience in data science, with additional background in data engineering and data analysis. This role requires good understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, data processing techniques, as well, as Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) and enterprise solutions. We are open to candidates located in the US, Spain, France or Poland. This role is approved for betweem 20 -40 hours per week depending on business needs.

The Business Operations Data Scientist is a skilled and experienced Data Scientist with around 5 years of experience in data science, with additional background in data engineering and data analysis. Your Day to Day:
- Develop and implement data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. Specially in the project management field.
- Perform data analysis to extract insights and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to build predictive models.
- Automate and improve processes using tools like PowerApps, Power Platform, etc.
- Work with both structured and unstructured data and databases / data lake.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 4+ Proven experience in Data Science in the Portfolio and Project Management field, preferably in the nuclear, engineering, manufacturing or construction industry.
- At least 4+ years' experience in project management, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), programming languages (such as Python, R, or SQL), big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks).
- Certification in Microsoft Project Online and/or Project Management is a plus.
- Certifications in Data Science or Data Engineering from IBM, Microsoft, Google or similar is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. PMO Experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with structured and unstructured data and databases.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
