This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm PST, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be an 8-hour shift between 7:30am to 4:00pm PST, Monday - Friday.

If you are within commutable distance to the office at 7 Technology Dr. Irvine CA 92618, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support incoming mail for the team
  • Process information from the system of files scanned, validating files as needed
  • Run a MACRO in the internal system daily
  • Work on projects as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to work on site in the Irvine location 2-3 times per weeks
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm PST, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience processing pharmacy or prescription claims, OR in a PBM (pharmacy benefit setting OR environment)
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams OR Microsoft Excel
  • Pharmacy Tech experience


Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Reside within commutable distance to the office at 7 Technology Dr. Irvine CA 92618
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

California Residents Only: The hourly range for this is $16.00 - $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
