Overview

LMI is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join a high performing team supporting a government healthcare client. This position may be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Defines, establishes, and evolves overall product technical, data centric, architecture solution
  • Leverages familiarity with continually modernizing technologies to improve performance and productivity, using broad software, data and expertise while skillful at assessing business needs, researching, evaluating, and recommending solutions.
  • Identifies the product's overall technical needs.
  • Works closely with data architects to map future-state architectures.
  • Collaborate with multiple Agile development teams consisting of full stack developers, data architects, cyber engineers, hardware SMEs, and logistics SMEs to define, develop, and deploy the directory
  • Researches, analyzes and documents the benefits of various technical approaches.
  • Produces documents that rationalize technical plans with overall agreed upon roadmaps, capturing technical considerations and design decisions.
  • Conveys the technical architecture for evaluation and consumption by both management and technical teams.
  • Provides interface and integration strategies and facilitates compliance with external requirements

Qualifications

Required
  • 4-10 years of experience architecting, designing, deploying, and sustaining cloud-based information systems and solutions; possesses a strong background in multi-tier, client-server, Internet, web, and mobile development
  • 2-5 years experience developing and administering APIs
  • Well-rounded experience across a variety of technical disciplines, proven experience and expertise as a technical architect, software or systems development lead, or Technical PM
  • Strong background in infrastructure as code technology
  • Hands-on experience with software development and system administration, an understanding of data architecture and strategic software and technology solutions to include customizable workflows and content management
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with the latest technical frameworks and architectures, adept at working with subject matter experts across the organization
  • Deep understanding of different integration patterns and best practices such as events, synchronous vs asynchronous messaging, peer-to-peer, publish-to-subscribe, distributed logs and RESTful APIs
  • Special focus on Agile methodologies, including Agile modeling, domain-driven design, refactoring, test-driven development
  • Demonstrated web-development experience (Java/JSON, HTML, CSS, XML)
  • Strong communication skills to document and communicate plans and strategies
  • Experience with AWS & Azure cloud services
  • Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Desired
  • Experience with enterprise data management solutions and platforms in the areas of master data management (MDM) data quality management, data governance, metadata management, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), data warehousing, and data lakes
