Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP FICO Configuration and Support
Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
Develop and implement intercompany processes within SAP FICO, focusing on intercompany transactions, billing, reconciliation, and eliminations.
Customize and support end-to-end financial and controlling processes to ensure efficient and accurate intercompany data flow and reporting.
2. Intercompany Process Management
Design and optimize intercompany billing and reconciliation workflows, ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance requirements.
Configure and support intercompany profit/loss elimination processes for consolidated financial reporting.
Establish and implement best practices for intercompany transactions to improve data accuracy, streamline reporting, and reduce reconciliation efforts.
3. Cross-Module Integration
Collaborate with SAP teams across modules (such as MM, SD, and PP) to integrate intercompany processes within SAP S/4HANA and ensure seamless data flow.
Support the integration of SAP FICO intercompany functionalities with other financial systems to provide accurate consolidated data and reporting.
4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
Act as the subject matter expert for intercompany issues within SAP FICO, providing root-cause analysis and resolution for process discrepancies.
Conduct system testing for intercompany configurations and ensure accuracy during integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production.
5. Documentation and Compliance
Create and maintain detailed documentation for intercompany processes, configurations, and customizations, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards (IFRS, GAAP).
Support audit requirements by documenting intercompany transaction processes, reconciliations, and controls to maintain compliance.
6. User Training and Support
Provide training to finance teams on intercompany processes, ensuring users are well-versed in SAP FICO intercompany workflows and best practices.
Develop user guides, training materials, and quick-reference documents to support end-users in daily intercompany transactions.
7. Continuous Improvement and Optimization
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate intercompany processes, improving efficiency and data accuracy across reporting cycles.
Stay updated on SAP s latest FICO features, updates, and industry trends related to intercompany transactions and integration.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience:
10+ years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant, with a focus on intercompany processes.
Proven experience in intercompany billing, reconciliation, and eliminations within SAP FICO.
Strong background in configuring SAP FICO modules, with a particular emphasis on intercompany financial accounting and controlling functions.
Skills:
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
o Strong knowledge of intercompany billing, reconciliation, and consolidation processes.
o Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, and SAP MM modules for intercompany integration.
Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex intercompany issues.
o Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
o Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP configurations.
Certifications: SAP FICO certification is preferred; certifications in SAP S/4HANA or Intercompany Processes are a plus.
