Job Details
One of our client is looking to add someone in their DevOps team who is investing in automation to scale up the data platform, providing new capabilities to run data processes efficiently, with a key focus on process automation. The DevOps Engineer manages AWS infrastructure with cross-account integration, multiple Airflow clusters, MSK, EKS, CI/CD with Jenkins/Terraform/CloudFormation and other AWS services. This role supports various platform services used by our client.
Required skills
- Candidate should have 5+ years of DevOps, AWS network and security experience
- Good working knowledge in some of these systems: EKS, Docker, ECS, Airflow, Jenkins, MSK - both deployment automation and operations
- Monitoring/Alerting/Recovery processes to ensure High availability of EKS clusters.
- Ability to lead new tech initiatives, engage with other team members, and share knowledge.
- Strong Linux OS-level and command-line/scripting knowledge and configuration management principles
- Strong Terraform/Jenkins/Ansible knowledge to deploy and manage AWS infrastructure
- Infrastructure monitoring experience with tools like DataDog/PagerDuty or similar
- Ability to work with both AWS managed services and deploying open-source projects on AWS infrastructure.
- Cloud Security awareness and mitigation experience.
Optional/nice to have:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Professional certificate
- Airflow experience
- Python experience
- Database knowledge (Postgres, SQL)
