Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in FIS Systematics to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with RM (Relationship Management) and DEPOSITS modules within the Systematics suite, coupled with the ability to understand and modify Easytrieve reports. This is a remote position that requires a proactive, communicative, and analytical professional who can work effectively within a distributed team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document system requirements, focusing on FIS Systematics (specifically RM and DEPOSITS modules).
- Review and modify Easytrieve reports to support business and technical requirements, ensuring data integrity and adherence to application constraints.
- Utilize File Aid for managing data files and performing data analysis within mainframe environments.
- Ensure that system solutions meet business needs while minimizing customization and complying with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and facilitate technical and business meetings, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Create, maintain, and refine documentation using Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), adhering to complex templates to ensure readability and clarity.
- Apply advanced skills in Excel Pivot tables, complex formulas, and data filters to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Optional experience in using Visio for process flow documentation or advanced PowerPoint for presentation purposes is a plus.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with FIS Systematics including expertise in RM and DEPOSITS modules.
- Proficient in Easytrieve reports with the ability to read and make necessary modifications (not at the developer level).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and ensure data integrity within applications while balancing customization and regulatory requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience leading business or technical meetings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to work with complex templates, formats, and formulas.
- Experience working as part of a remote team and successfully supporting remote deployments.
Optional Skills:
- Knowledge of Excel Pivot tables and advanced skills in PowerPoint or Visio is an added advantage.
