Job Title: Data Engineer [Hybrid - CLT]
Duration: 1 year
Location: Charlotte, NC
Required Pay Scale: $82/hr on W2
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer contractor to join our team and drive our data science initiatives, focusing on enhancing order fulfillment efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer experiences. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and advanced analytics to provide actionable insights that support business growth and operational excellence.
As a Data Engineer, you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrate data from diverse sources, and develop automated self-service solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver data-driven solutions that provide a competitive advantage. Your work will involve deep statistical analysis, predictive and prescriptive modeling, and the development of dashboard reports to measure key performance metrics.
Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for efficient data processing.
Data Integration: Ensure data consistency and quality by integrating data from multiple sources.
Database Management: Optimize databases and data warehouses for performance and scalability.
Data Quality Assurance: Implement processes for data cleaning, validation, and quality control.
Advanced Data Analysis: Perform complex data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights related to order fulfillment.
Machine Learning Implementation: Utilize large language models (LLMs) and other ML techniques to generate predictive models and insights.
Dashboard Development: Create and maintain dashboards to track order fulfillment efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for data processes, models, and pipelines.
