Job Description :
We are looking for a self-motivated, positive, and quality conscious IT professional for temporary, remote-work opportunity assisting Enterprise Network and Communication Services with changes to Wi-Fi authentication through June 30th, 2025.
You will:
- Help identify authentication methodology and workflow for EAP-TLS on both enterprise and personally owned devices.
- Help design and test provisioning methodology to configure EAP-TLS on enterprise computers, tablets, and smartphones of all major OS versions.
- Assist with configuring HPE-Aruba ClearPass servers for EAP-TLS authentication with AD authorization.
- Configure HPE_Aruba ClearPass for Passpoint
- Assist with Wi-Fi authentication testing, using EAP-TTLS-PAP, EAP-TLS, RADIUS MAC, and Passpoint
- Produce knowledge base documents related to Wi-Fi authentication and provisioning for use by IT staff and end users.
- Perform external risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing
Minimum requirements include an Associates' degree or higher;
Required skills/experience areas include:
- Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting with enterprise authentication.
- HPE-Aruba ClearPass configuration
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in small teams.
- Clear written and verbal communications skill
The applicant is required to provide their work with adequate internet speed and reliability for unified communications, such as VPN, Microsoft Teams meeting and calls, and to perform the duties described above. Penn State will provide a Windows laptop for work use. The applicant shall provide all desired peripherals and accessories.
