Overview: We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Jira Service Management to support our ongoing migration project, as well as our integration and automation needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with an existing Atlassian SME on the team. This role requires a senior-level professional capable of making strategic recommendations, identifying issues, and resolving them effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Migration Support: Provide expert guidance and hands-on support during the current phase of our migration project.
Integration and Automation: Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrations and automations within Jira Service Management.
Technical Leadership: Act as a technical lead for Jira Service Management projects, providing strategic recommendations and ensuring successful project delivery.
Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to Jira Service Management, minimizing disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using Jira Service Management and its features.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices for Jira Service Management.
Must Haves:
Extensive experience in Jira Service Management with a strong track record of completing integrations, automations, and configurations.
Proven ability to make strategic recommendations and provide technical leadership in Jira Service Management projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in related tools and technologies, such as scripting languages and integration platforms.
Certifications in Jira Service Management or related fields are a plus.
