Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Office 365 Administrator to manage, configure, and maintain the Office 365 ecosystem across our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all Office 365 applications, maintain security protocols, and provide technical support to end-users. This role involves collaboration with internal and external IT teams, managing integrations, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies to maximize the platform's effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration and Management:
    • Manage and configure Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other productivity tools.
    • Administer user accounts, groups, licenses, and permissions within the Microsoft 365 environment.
    • Automate essential IT processes via Power Platform technologies such as Power Automate, Logic Apps, Model Driven Apps, and other available technologies.
    • Administer third-party enterprise applications such as Adobe Enterprise, Dropbox, RingCentral, and other ancillary systems.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide Level 2/3 support for Office 365-related issues.
    • Assist end-users with technical issues, configurations, and troubleshooting across Office 365 applications.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Monitor system health and performance, ensuring uptime and availability.
    • Generate and analyze reports on usage, performance, and potential improvements.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and manage security features, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
    • Implement and manage Office 365 SSO configurations with third-party enterprise applications, such as Adobe Enterprise, Dropbox, RingCentral, etc.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements by configuring Office 365 security settings and policies.
  • Updates and Maintenance:
    • Keep the Office 365 environment up-to-date with the latest patches, features, and updates.
    • Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and integrations as needed.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with IT teams to integrate Office 365 with other business systems.
    • Assist in developing strategies to optimize productivity and collaboration using Office 365 tools.
    • Address issues reported via the problem management system in compliance with company SLAs.
  • Training and Documentation:
    • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users to maximize tool adoption and efficiency.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as an Office 365 Administrator or similar role.
    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive administration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of PowerShell for Office 365 administration.
    • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related tools.
    • Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
