Job Details

A TEKsystems client is searching for a Telecom Technician to provide auditing at sites throughout northern Louisiana.
Candidate will be ideally based in Ruston, LA (30 mile radius).
This position will pay hourly $18-20/hour. On-site training will be provided, but candidates must have some telecommunications experience.
Candidates must use their own vehicle and will receive mileage reimbursement from the TEKsystems client.
The Telecommunication/Construction Auditor is responsible for conducting inspections on both new and existing plants. The Telecommunication/Construction Auditor must be highly detailed, communicative, collaborative, task driven and comfortable working with technology. This role requires self-motivation and strong project coordination experience in order to contribute to all areas of expertise with various cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and documentation skills are highly desired by the client.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of company policies and procedures;
Knowledge of telecommunications network design and construction practices;
Knowledge of various operating systems, Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook;
Strong organization and time management skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details;
Proficient in the use of appropriate project management reporting and tracking software;
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and
All employees must be willing to submit to a background check.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
